Artist Toolkit: Life Drawing week 3

Today Vicky introduced us to using black paper and white chalk, I quite enjoyed this method, I found it easier to show the light this way rather then white paper and charcoal.

This was my first drawing with the black paper, I concentrated on the lighting more than proportion, this was 25 minutes.

 This one I drew the light first, then the shadows and drew into it, I wasn't pleased with the results, I tried it again and came out with the hand below, I was much happier with the results.

 This was another drawing, hand slightly more twisted, I wanted to concentrate on hands this lesson as it's were I lack in skills the most, as well as face and feet.
