Folder 10- King Solomon's Mines

Project 1 - My first Influence Map consists mainly of water sources which was described in the first few pictures leading up to a pit by Solomon's mine and covered in bushes and grass hiding the entrance.

I researched into a synopsis of the book and discovered it is based in Africa, so I started to look more at African landscapes, mountains and pits that were described.

Summer Project: First Sketches

Here's the first 10 sketches I imagined straight away, I like the flying machine the most, I feel i enjoyed drawing it as more time was taken to draw it. I chose to draw straight from pen to paper, I enjoy line art drawing.

 Tried to more machines this round, starting to require silhouettes.

Summer Project: Introduction

Starting my new University course BA Hons in CG Arts and Animation I was given a summer project to work on to present during my first introduction week. I found the project fun but also in it's ways challenging. I rolled through the first 50 but started to get stuck so I began looking at the images upside down, zoomed in and in silhouettes.
